Instructions on the new luarocks requirement needed

Running LazyHealth on the latest lazyvim, gives me some errors, that I am missing luarocks and lua5.1 (even though docs mention only luarocks)

I would like to enable the new functionality to be able to use more plug-ins, but I am unfamiliar with the lua ecosystem.

In Debian stable repos (I prefer to get whatever I can from there) I see the following:

• luajit-2.1.0 based on lua5.1
• luarocks-3.8.0
• lua-5.1
• lua-5.2
• lua-5.3
• lua-5.4

Not sure if we need luajit which nvim uses or regular lua, and if luarocks provides lua also or is just the package manager.

Oh ok my bad. So I am unsure which lua compiler we use (jit or regular) as i am totally unfamiliar with the lua ecosystem.

But I saw in the other issue that I can enable hererocks which from what I understand will install whatever is required locally.

So I will find how to do that.

checkhealth tells you to:

• either enable hererocks
• or install luarocks and lua 5.1

There's no mention of luajit in there.

I'm really not sure how much clearer I can be

I figured that if you needed regular lua you would use the latest one 5.3 or 5.4, seeing 5.1 I thought luajit is implied.

I don't get it. It literally says lua 5.1. If it would need luajit, I would have mentioned luajit (which is version 2.1 btw. 5.1 doesn't exist)
