Adobe discontinued the project and the source repository is now archived https://github.com/adobe/brackets

On September 1, 2021, Adobe will end support for Brackets. If you would like to continue using, maintaining, and improving Brackets, you may fork the project on GitHub. Through Adobe’s partnership with Microsoft, we encourage users to migrate to Visual Studio Code, Microsoft’s free code editor built on open source.

If you're talking about Phoenix https://phcode.dev/, it's the community maintained continuation of Brackets and a completely separate app.

It needs to be submitted as a separate app with its own app-id etc. not as a continuation of this package.

Hmm ok, it is still a fork of the main project. But I'm not sure whether it should be under a new repo/appid. They do mention that they might change branding in the readme.

Anyway looks like they need to figure out Linux support, from what I gathered building from source on Linux isn't possible and there are no Linux binaries brackets-cont/brackets#112
