While changing the icon to SVG it should also get a facelift. The current icon uses the old Firebug cockroach, which is a bit ugly.

I agree, I'll create a blue firebug icon and replace the old one.

It would also be nice to have a hint for jQuery, i.e. use its three cyan stripes within the logo.
Let me know if I can be of any help with it.

Obviously I have it in SVG format but I've saved them as 64x64 for this example. Any other sizes we may need/want?

All three look good. I slightly prefer the third one. Currently it seems only the big version is used, though I'm not sure where it will be used in the future. So if smaller sizes are needed, a different logo needs to be used.
