Contributing to Firebase Me Documentation

We welcome contributions to improve our documentation. Here’s how you can help:

Creating a New Page

You can create a new documentation page by submitting an issue or editing directly on GitHub.

Using GitHub Issue Templates

  1. Navigate to the Issues page of the repository.
  2. Click on the "New issue" button.
  3. Select the "New Page Request" template.
  4. Fill in the details for your new page and submit the issue.

Editing Directly on GitHub

  1. Navigate to the repository on GitHub.
  2. Browse to the docs directory or the relevant directory where you want to add the new document.
  3. Click the "Add file" button and select "Create new file".
  4. Enter a name for your new document, including the .md extension (e.g., new-document.md).
  5. Add your content using Markdown syntax.
  6. Scroll down to the "Propose new file" section.
  7. Provide a commit message and description for your changes.
  8. Click "Propose new file".
  9. On the next page, click "Create pull request".

Opening Issues

If you find any errors or have suggestions for improvements, please open an issue:

  1. Navigate to the Issues page.
  2. Click on the "New Issue" button.
  3. Provide a descriptive title and detailed description of the issue or suggestion.
  4. If applicable, include screenshots or code snippets to illustrate the point.
