It would be nice to be able to cycle through tabs in recently used order with Ctrl+Tab instead of it always going to the next tab. And this should be configurable.

So you mean only back and forth between the current and the previously used?

Not only previous and current, but recently used order. So, if I have last used tabs 3, 5 and, 7, and I am now on tab 9, when I Ctrl+Tab I go to 7. If I had done Ctrl+Tab+Tab, then I would go to to tab 5, if I did it 3 times, I'd go to tab 3.

Oh, and ideally, Ctrl+Shift+Tab would reverse it. So, if I Ctrl+Tab+Tab+Shift+Tab I end up on tab 7, because it went back twice, and forward once.

Conemu does that, and Firefox does it if you select Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order on the options, so you can test the behavior. It is quite common.
