Warning: I'm no node.js expert and this code might not even work. Someone should test it before merging it. :)
It might also be a good idea to factor out the repeated list of "filterable properties" into a single global variable somewhere, and then loop over the list in the two places I'm using it, instead of what I did here.
Fixes #18.
