Environment

  • OS: Arch Linux (6.9.2-arch1-1 )

  • Install method: williamboman/mason.nvim

  • Vale version: 3.4.2

  • Dictionary: de_DE
    (Works properly in Libreoffice)

  • vale.ini:
    StylesPath = styles

    Vocab = Die

    MinAlertLevel = suggestion

    Packages = Readability, alex, proselint

    [*]
    BasedOnStyles = Vale, Readability, alex, proselint, german-dictionary

    Vale.Spelling = NO

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

Unexpected behavior linting compound words with German capitalization.

Example:

Compounding "Funktion "and "Wert" (capitalized because they are Nouns)

  • Correct spelling:

    Funktionswert

    yields: "1. Did you really mean 'Funktionswert'? [german-dictionary.german]"

  • Incorrect Spelling:

    FunktionsWert

    No errors

This is my first ever bug report. If anything is missing I'd happily supply further Inforamtion**
