Test and Functional Verification

The number of features has increased. It needs a testing and functional verification strategy that can be used to first verify everything works as expected and can then be used to make sure nothing breaks when making changes.

First idea is to have an example application that tests all cases. It should output values that can be used to verify if something works or not. At first, the output is verified manually. Once this is done, it is used as baseline and can be used to verify against it.
