Docker Compose: Postgres password can't be changed

Description

I tried setting the postgres password to something else than "pgpass" in the config files, but after that museum won't start up. Looks like something is hardcoded somewhere.

Hi, can you share your docker compose yaml file ? Also can you mention each step you are performing so that we can replicate the issue.
It might seem like you have initialized the DB with the default password and now you are only editing the env variables (which is not enough to change the password in the initialized DB) and config files.
It would be nice to see the output of "docker compose logs" as well 😊

What are the error logs museum is throwing ? you can check with docker compose logs museum.

Also, if I'm not wrong there is no password for the user postgres for authentication by default on most linux distributions.
