This is a meta-issue for tracking the development effort on defining and realizing various holistic optimizations.

Implemented changes are going to be merged in the holopt branch. The branch is going to be regularly rebased against newir branch.

Notebook

WIP discussions are based on a Jupyter notebook. Assuming you have Jupyter and the Jupyter Scala kernel installed on your machine, the notebook can be started with the following command.

jupyter notebook
