Similar to the sound example elementary/switchboard-plug-sound#104
I noticed that since my switch to elementary OS the display brightness is pretty low. I have the control slider on the highest level. It wasn't with Fedora. What can you do to improve it?
One more observation I'd like to share.
I set up a hard disk encryption during the installation. Every time elementary OS starts, I am asked for my password to unlock. But in almost all cases the screen is so dark that I have to use the brightness function keys to see anything. A short touch of the function key is enough. But then the brightness is at its maximum again. And in my perception this is a very dark maximum.
