There should be a way to automate the approval process for what cookbook or dependencies are allowed into you Minimart.

This might be out of scope. Seems like ultimately any inventory updates should happen only after a pipeline analyzes and tests new entries. Probably just needs a WIKI page showing how to setup a reference pipeline (in Jenkins maybe) to check staged cookbooks before adding them to the inventory.

@berniedurfee-ge yeah I believe it is out of scope for this project itself but may be something that could be implemented as a pipeline in another project. This is just a note from one of the attendees at the Chef Summit that showed a lot of interest in this project.
