I guess there is more games like that.... maybe they use a different 
method for the sound system?

confirmed issue, I think WIiEngien has that too so this is probably a bug in the
original hu-go core

There are many games that do this, Dungeon Explorer doesn't work properly.  
Neutopia has issues.  Many problems with HuGo that are a result of the core 
source code.  It would be nice if someone would port MagicEngine for the Wii, 
we need a good Turbo Emulator...

Magic Engine is not open-source and probably not portable.
A better choice would be Mednafen.
