I apologize for annoying. There problem is in the game itself after the last commit.Like vertical screen tearing. It is clearly visible when climbing the stairs in the first level. In the previous build, this was almost not noticeable.

Pretty sure this happens similarely on real hardware. It seems this is a known scrolling bug that was never fixed by AlekMaul.

Maybe. It’s interesting that in the previous commit this is almost invisible, although there is a stripe on the title screen.

In any case, thank you very much.

I remember it was quite visible when I quickly tested the game at the time the initial issue was reported (only took a few ladders in first level but the vertical scrolling glitches were definitively very much noticeable). I also remember checking this on real hardware (not just the title screen) because I thought this was another unreported emulation issue and it was quite similarely bugged.

I will try to check again on real hardware and compare with latest emulator build but I doubt the commit I made to fix the initial issue would have an impact on this as it seems more like an engine bug (due to how the game was ported) than a timing issue.

Thanks for the clarification. Then maybe it's better to go back to the previous commit? The black bar is not as important as vertical scrolling, which has definitely gotten worse in the latest commit.

By the way, there is no black bar in Picodrive and vertical scrolling is not so bad.
