Limited functionality on Windows #285

As I couldn't get any logs or error message I'll describe what I've experienced, I welcome any guidance that would help me provide better feedback for this matter.

  1. Installed Atom on Windows 10 (64 bits)
  2. Installed Proton
  3. Proton shows initializing modal

At 3, it lists the packages about to be installed but they get barely listed really fast, with OK status and at the end are not even installed. I suppose it's some kind of privileges issue.

I'm not windows user but my guess that apm is not available from the PATH. Check if atom or apm are available from command line. Maybe this link will be helpful.

Both commands are available through the command line. Forgot to mention that.
