My set-up:

  • Multisite
    • primary site is example.test
    • second site is a route-based sub-site, not a subdomain: example.test/site
    • both are the same language
    • each site is in a separate Site Group
  • "Page Builder" Matrix
    • a matrix with two blocks (will be more, just testing right now)
    • matrix set to share blocks across sites in a Site Group for multisite "translation" settings
    • using Spoon to group the two blocks into different groups
      • Group 1 (Text) should have Block 1 (Body Copy block)
      • Group 2 (Story Blocks) should have Block 2 (Timeline block)
      • Group 2 NOT configured for default set-up (Story Blocks are only on Stories)
  • "Pages" is a Section that exists across sites
    • Should have the default Spoon block configuration - show Text group, hide Story Blocks group
  • "Stories" is a Section that exists across sites
    • Should have a custom Spoon block configuration - reconfigure Text group and add Story Blocks group

What I'm seeing:

  • default Spoon configuration is working across all Sites and Sections 👍
  • custom Stories Section/Entry Type Spoon configuration is NOT working
    • primary site Stories show Text and Story Blocks groups as expected 👍
    • secondary site Stories are inheriting the default config - Story Blocks are not shown 👎

On Craft 3.4.15 and latest Spoon 3.5.2.

Hey! Sorry for the delay on this one - it slipped through somehow and I’ve just seen it as I’ve been triaging issues ... I will try and look into it as soon as I can for you. Thanks for the detailed setup!
