Finally.\n\nI haven't kept up with recent waves of Gentoo breakage, so those\nexample systems currently aren't going to fare very well. Also the\nLinux 6.5 issue that broke verity on root in some configurations is\nmuch more noticeable now that all the distros have upgraded--it\nlooks like Fedora and Ubuntu still work while everything else is\nbroken. (Yes, Red Hat backported it to CentOS.) Disable verity to\nbuild those distros for now.","shortMessageHtmlLink":"Add Fedora 40 and Ubuntu 24.04"}},{"before":"640f100084695f4b6eee2a153e9ccfb6e512b395","after":"eb349fa294186523030f3468d85a5a1f3b977c68","ref":"refs/heads/master","pushedAt":"2023-11-07T17:24:29.000Z","pushType":"push","commitsCount":1,"pusher":{"login":"dm0-","name":"David Michael","path":"/dm0-","primaryAvatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/1379865?s=80&v=4"},"commit":{"message":"Add Fedora 39","shortMessageHtmlLink":"Add Fedora 39"}},{"before":"6252334b5a52cad80db27677bf6957633f039a8b","after":"640f100084695f4b6eee2a153e9ccfb6e512b395","ref":"refs/heads/master","pushedAt":"2023-10-13T00:00:00.000Z","pushType":"push","commitsCount":1,"pusher":{"login":"dm0-","name":"David Michael","path":"/dm0-","primaryAvatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/1379865?s=80&v=4"},"commit":{"message":"Add Ubuntu 23.10\n\nPiles of fixes have accumulated in this. There are still several\nbroken things, notably Linux 6.5 broke using PARTUUID with dm-init.\n\nUKI generation is now handled as in dracut, where it calculates the\nnext consecutive aligned address to add sections so that it's more\nrobust for handling layout changes from systemd.\n\nThe VTMB example container had some new Wine issues with the\nprevious Ubuntu upgrade, so it was replaced with another example\ncontainer to build the original version of The Sims. They will now build a\ncontainer for the architecture of the build system by default.\n\nThe container for Faster than Light has been updated to actually\nallow building for 32-bit targets again as its header claims. It\nsticks with Fedora rather than switching to Ubuntu like the other\n32-bit examples, so the build is now demonstrating how to use the\nunmirrored Koji repositories when switching the target architecture\nto i686. Beware that these packages are unsigned, though.\n\nThe container for The Binding of Isaac has finally dropped the dead\nproprietary Flash player in favor of building Ruffle. It also adds\noptional support for NVIDIA host drivers.\n\nGentoo example systems have a pile of fixes for new compilers and\nkernels. Gentoo builds in general will now default to the stable\nversion of the cross-compiler toolchain packages rather than trying\nto detect target settings. Use package.accept_keywords to change\nthem as with anything else.\n\nThe loadpin option now implies the bootable option since its only\nexists to modify kernel behavior anyway.\n\nThe systemd UEFI stub finally understands bitmap color channels\ncorrectly in version 253, so the distros will start dropping their\nsplash image color matrices as they upgrade. Arch and openSUSE are\nalready updated.","shortMessageHtmlLink":"Random updates for the example builds"}}],"hasNextPage":false,"hasPreviousPage":false,"activityType":"all","actor":null,"timePeriod":"all","sort":"DESC","perPage":30,"cursor":"djE6ks8AAAAEOrl31QA","startCursor":null,"endCursor":null}},"title":"Activity ยท dm0-/installer"}
