NEW FEATURES
* algstat now has a function called plotMatrix that is a variant of Matlab's
spy function.
* algstat now has functions for sequential importance sampling of tables,
see ?rfiber
* algstat now has functions for generating random moves, see ?rmove.
* Most 4ti2 and latte functions are implemented through the latter package,
a new dependency.
* Functions write.latte and read.latte are now implemented.
* loglinear (hierarchical) now takes more general model specifications, including
facet specification (i.e. list(1, 2) and list("Gender", "Handedness")) and
index-formula specification (i.e. ~ 1 + 2). it also accepts unnamed arrays.
* teshape: when converting a frequency representation to a table or an observed
data frame representation, the user can now specify the name of a frequency
variable in the original dataset. In particular, the variable needn't be
called freq, count, or frequency.
* The new function countFiber uses LattE's count function to count the elements
of a fiber; that is, the number of nonnegative integer x's such that Ax = b
for a given A and b. (Thanks to Tobias Windisch for the suggestion.)
* The metropolis algorithm can now sample from the uniform distribution.

* Internals of several functions have been tidied.

NEW FEATURES
* Pathing has been updated substantially on OS-X and Windows platforms.
* LattE's count function now works through a function called count; it is used to count lattice points.
* A new function countTables, based on count, counts the number of tables with the same marginals as a given table.
* LattE's latte-maximum and latte-minimum now work, allowing for the solution of linear programs (with integer coefficients) via LattE's routines. Be careful with these as they are experimental in LattE (see examples).
CHANGES
* 4ti2 now has it's own path in options() called "markovPath" (4ti2Path was too unwieldy). This makes it easier to point to 4ti2 functions vs LattE functions. It is searched for differently on different operating systems but can be set manually.
FIXES
* The markov function now defaults dim to NULL to conform to conform to good coding practice (it is an early argument).
