This could probably be implemented alongside #3286 , but I don’t think there’s been any indication of whether that’ll happen or not. |

I think there should be an option to allow multiple files to be attached to a single command option. This could be achieved by having maximum and minimum count properties on attachment options. This would give developers greater control over what users can upload.
I fully understand that a similar effect can be achieved by having multiple options that all accept one attachment each, but this can make the user experience very clunky in my opinion. My bot, for example, requires users to upload anywhere between 1 and 5 attachments to a command, while also having other non-attachment options. Having a sea of options just looks bad.
Another reason for this change is to make the behaviour more akin to regular messages. Recently we got the ability to add multiple attachments to a single message, and I think the same should apply to slash commands (if the developer so desires).
