Using Network date and time instead of fetching local date and time. This will help in removing any inconsistency when the user changes date abruptly. This will help in maintaining the consistency of the extension.

Try changing the date of the system while running extension you will notice error in the daily streak. Using network date will help in fixing it and all other vulnerabilities related to it.
