What

nilerr is a good lint tool, but its development/improvement seem inactive.

We should:

find a replacement of nilerr
make a fork of nilerr
encourage the developers of nilerr

How

Describe how to address the issue.

Checklist

Finish implementation of the issue
Test all functions
Have enough logs to trace activities
Notify developers of necessary actions
