Overview

The integration tests strategies for MSSQL and (MySQL+PG) are quite different. They both have their pros and cons. It would be good to reconcile them into one pattern that works across the board.

Definition of done

  • Capture pros and cons of each approach in this issue
  • Capture opportunities to merge the 2 approaches, plus any remaining tradeoffs
  • A list of tasks to reconcile MSSQL and (MySQL+PG) integration testing strategies
