This is where I think we should always have a visible tappable/clickable alternative to DND, (e.g. ^ and v button) not just because of issues like this but also in terms of accessibility.

Hi @stevejpurves , the drag and drop feature does not work in Firefox (Regular, Developer Edition, and Nightly, I tested in all three browsers), in M1 Mac and Intel Macs either. It also does not work in Brave. The problem ONLY arises when we have a large number of authors. When there were three or four authors I was able to drag my name from the top to the lower list. After that it keeps appending to the list. Strange!
