Does zippopotamus only provide post code areas or should it go more in depth?
let me illustrate it with a example

postal code 5657 EH is city Eindhoven
zippopotamus only accepts 5657 and then returns general coordinates.

In the Netherlands the four digits are call postal code area’s and the letters give you a specific street.

So to rephrase the question:
Does have zippopotamus have an end goal on providing zip codes or zip code areas

we don't have access to that data,

if you could provide us the a legal means of acquiring it, we can integrate it into our system

the 4 digit postal codes with cities can be provided. i think its legal. but it's without cordinates.
don't directly know how to get them using google is not legal i gues....

with the letters i only use full if we can get the cordinates some how.

What about 6PP. this should be legal, right?

I don't speak dutch, so I can't read it or anything.
If you can parse the data into a usable format for us I would be happy to
update the site.

Hi @crowell that is indeed the best source that there is.
it is (was) a open source project the like yours to generate all the code.

i could parse the data in the formate your looking for. but then again i'm not the owner of that data.

would you like me to parse it for you in the near future?
