@bc-lee would you also have a link to the documentation explaining how to reclaim the GiB occupied by the qemu VM, eventually migrating the volumes from that format to the new, please? |

Issue Description
Describe your issueUpgrading from podman 4.9.3 to 5.0.0 the qemu machine has just disappeared from podman's radar.
The files are still there, but a podman machine list does not list it.
I must have missed some warning during the install - but I can not find any source of documentation about the change altogether.

The podman machine is gone - I have to re-initialize a machine

The existing qemu machine is still listed. OR - during the upgrade I am proposed to entirely remove it (because it occupies ~60GiB)
