Are people still using Ruby 1.8.7 with Sinatra or has everyone moved to 1.9.3 now? #9

All the Sinatra stuff I have worked on has been done under Ruby 1.8.6 (and *.7) but more and more I see people using 1.9.2 (and now *.3). Last time I looked at moving up to 1.9.* too much stuff broke but that was a while ago. Should people developing with Sinatra be using 1.9.* now?

People should be using 1.9.3. By the end of this month, 1.8.7 will no longer be supported by ruby-core. Sinatra will not drop 1.8 support any time soon (see README). However, I develop Sinatra against 1.9.3 and only investigate 1.8 issues after Travis CI tells me about it.

I still use Ruby 1.8.7 and Sinatra on a shared host. But upgrading should not be a problem later.
