Roadmap

Future plan

The first major stable release (1.0) is planned roughly for summer (at the moment the plan would be about June, but a more detailed plan will be released one or two months before that); minor releases (0.9.x) will come out in irregular intervals until then.

The plan is to first fix the issues mentioned under [Known Issues](Known Issues) (and any eventual bugs being reported via the issue tracker) with minor releases over the next few months, and then have a Release Candidate in May.

The plan for the next minor releases:

• Version 0.9.9 planned for beginning of April 2013 (ability to unblock after a configurable period as proposed in https://github.com/codeling/bfstop/issues/2; maybe the ability to inform about remaining attempts as propose in https://github.com/codeling/bfstop/issues/3 or the notification of registered users of blocked attempts with their username as proposed in https://github.com/codeling/bfstop/issues/1)
• Version 0.9.10 planned for middle to end of April 2013 (Enhanced backend with tables showing logged events and blocked IPs)
• Version 0.9.11 planned for May 2013 (Enhanced notification configuration system, i.e. checks whether notifications can be sent successfully via a test email)
