We downloaded the Google Now Launcher to Samsung J5 with Android 6.0.1. The scroll buttons appeared, although the dashboard interface changed. But the phone started to run slowly and it also interrupted. Overall conclusion is that the Launcher didn´t work well. And it didn´t work at all on Huawei P10 Lite and Xiaiomi.

I tried EVA Facial Mouse v1.2.11 on a Samsung J7 (2016) SM-J710F with Android 6.0.1 and I have not been able to reproduce such issues. For me, scroll buttons work fine with both Google Now Launcher and the default TouchWiz launcher. I didn't notice any speed issues. Off course, the hardware of the J7 is more powerful than the hardware of the J5, but a 1.2 GHz Quad Core should be enough to run EVA.

Did the default launcher not worked for you? Did you were running other apps when you noticed that the device start to run slowly? Which ones?

As for the Huawei and the Xiaomi, did you experience the same issues? Did you try with the default launcher which comes with these devices?

It might help if you provide additional details about these devices (go to Settings > Accessibility > EVA Facial Mouse > Settings; tap 4 times over the version number and then send the device details) and videos showing these issues.
