- 2½ t yeast
- ¼ C sugar
- 1 C warm water
- 1 egg
- ¾ stick butter
- 1 T salt
- Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit.
- Separately, mix egg, butter, and salt. Slowly add 3 C flour.
- Let rise.
- Bake appropriately for use, generally hot (450°F).
Works great as pizza dough.
