[Feature request]: Please add a real-time traffic speed indicator to the system tray. #1754

The essence of my suggestion is as follows: if your application is monitoring traffic, then you can add an indicator in the status bar that will show the current speed of network traffic.

Unsure if an installed app can put such a thing in the status bar. Are you aware of any installed app doing so on Android?

There are such applications. For example, NetSpeed Indicator and Internet Speed Meter Lite.

Tried both those apps, and they don't seem to work in the latest Android versions (13+) where Android groups all notifications and shows only the total number of open notifications in the status bar, instead.

You can also display the current network traffic speed in the notification menu of the application

and in the application itself, the speed of the network traffic of the active application.
