Week-long Climate Hackathon #141
Comments
I've an idea for this Hackathon too, I want to do masked CycleGAN, to see if we can transfer only the water style from sim to real, keeping everything else the same. Here by real I mean the output of OmniGAN, since we will have a mask for real domain too in this case. Any volunteers to join me on this? |
This can be your task, Vahe :) the others already have their events they
want to work on

yeah, it is my task, I was just wondering if anyone maybe wants to join (part time), for instance I don't have the OmniGAN masks to begin with, will be cool if someone can help me with this. Some idea exchange on how to tackle this can be fun too. |
Everyone is doing the hackathon alone :)
We can have a preparatory meeting on Monday to make sure everyone has all
the data they need, including the OmniGAN masks and the fire images.
I'll start making a google doc.

why alone? :)) is it like the format of the hackathon or just happened that everyone wants to work alone? |
The format we decided on is that everyone picks a different weather
phenomenon (NOT flooding) and will work on it during the week.
Of course, people can help each other, but the idea is to explore several
different directions and do a proof of concept by the end of the week.
It would be really great to have simulated fire images for Alexia!

If yes, then I didn't mean to disturb your solitude :))
about fire images (simulated ones), I've checked, we don't have it,
because the code to create proper ones are not ready yet, I will try to fix
it this week, but no promises, sorry ...
