Status is monochrome after enabling tmux

Hi, yesterday my status line stopped working with the tmux plugin and I've got literally zero clue why. Here's my config (and a screenshot showing what it looks like). Wondering if anyone could help me.

#185 this seems to be the same issue as I'm on tmux 3.0a on this machine!
