Having reviewed the CT's updates to the website, and keeping in mind the conventions set out in our style guide, as well as to achieve consistency across the various website pages, please make the following changes:

Blog tab: https://carp-new-website.netlify.app/blog/

The sidebar menu on that tab currently looks like this:

Please edit as follows:

  • Make "Tag" and "Author" all small letters
  • Remove the "Last edited" button. (The latest blog post should hopefully reflect this date?)

Newsletter tab: https://carp-new-website.netlify.app/about-us/newsletter/

  • Please delete the sub-menu highlighted above
  • Please add the following general text about the newsletter:
"Carpentries Clippings is the monthly newsletter of The Carpentries, published on the fourth Thursday of each month. Before April 2023, it was published twice a month. It contains updates from the Core Team about programmatic and other developments, a Gratitude of the Month, highlights from our blog, opportunity postings relevant to our community, and more."

@OscarSiba I have added the text to the top of the newsletter page. The other changes may take more work, so I am saving those for later and tagging this issue accordingly.
