That's a good suggestion, thanks for the feedback! I'm aware of a couple of other pages that miss such summaries, and it would be nice to have them on all the installation pages. I've added it into the backlog. |

Please describe the question or issue you're facing with "Install and configure LDAP - Ubuntu Server documentation".
I feel that official documentation for every category/title such as this one, should include a summary of the tool discussed. That summary would include info on the purpose of the tool, when/where/why/how it would be used, as well as benefits & disadvantages. While I realize I can search elsewhere for this info, it seems odd to me that it wouldn't be part of official docs. Thanks.
