Describe the bug
I have a problem with my mutlipass when I launch a vm with the multipass launch command and add a cloud-init file. It doesn't work, it stays in Starting and my multipass goes into Waiting for Daemon.

To Reproduce
How, and what happened?

  1. When i'm launch Multipass launch command with cloud init file
  2. multipass launch focal --n mysrv --memory 4G --cpus 2 --cloud-init myfile.yaml

Expected behavior
So that I can run my multipass launch command with a cloud init file and my virtual machine can launch it.

Logs
Please provide logs from the daemon, see accessing logs on where to find them on your platform.

@Tonsitho
Thanks for reporting this.

May I ask whether you can launch a vm without the cloud-init file with the exact same setup?

If I launch a vm without cloud-init file it works perfectly

@Tonsitho
It is hard to tell where problem is. Multipass only loads the cloud-init file and run it. Maybe more debugging on the cloud-init yaml file can help. Can you try with minimalistic cloud-init yaml file first and gradually locate the line causes the problem?
