Describe the bug
When I launch an instance with the bridged network toggle on but no bridged network defined globally, I get the expected, helpful, error:

launch-error-good

However, if, when launching, I also add a mount to the instance, I get a confusing error:

launch-error-bad

Expected behavior
I expected to see the same error as before.

Additional info

  • OS: tried on macOS 15
  • multipass version: 1.15.0-rc4
  • multipass info
  • multipass get local.driver: confirmed with both VirtualBox and QEMU
