Hide Google Earth panel with IE

When hiding the panel containing Google Earth (with the small arrow), IE crashes.

I fear this is nothing I can do for that, it's between GoogleEarth flash plugin and IE

I see... Maybe remove this arrow (we can toggle the panel with the Google Earth button)?

I don't think it is a good idea to remove this arrow, because it removes a functinnality from other browsers that have no problem with it. And this bug cannot be reproduced with IE 10.
