Redirection hyphae should not show under subnodes. Alternatively, a category that hides a node in the subhyphae listing would be useful. (and a checkbox on whether to hide it when making a redirect)

For small wikis, this helps declutter the subhyphae listing and improve discoverability when there are renamed pages.

Thanks for the suggestion!

How does hiding redirection hyphae improve discoverability if it actually reduces the number of places a hypha is linked in?

I think the problem should be addressed somewhat differently. What if, when renaming, links to the old name get edited automatically so that they actually point to the new name? This way there would be almost no reason to have redirections at all. Would that solve your problem? What do you think?

The reason I didn't make it this way originally is that I found it hard haha.

As for supporting categories that get hidden in the subhyphae section in general, that sounds nice to have.

It avoids burying non-renamed hyphae. If people feel like more of the links are likely to be unique, that makes people more likely to explore.

That would work even better.
