Hello, guys!

I noticed that the author has been somewhat absent lately, but maybe one of you can help me out.

Trying to run D2/LOD + D2DX via wine.

Installed Ubuntu 22.04. Installed wine staging (8.3), because I couldn't install D2/LOD with the "built-in" wine version (the License Agreement text wasn't showing, neither was the Agree button; something with the gecko?).

On winehq-staging everything worked out-of-the-box. Installed PlugY, works perfectly. Wanted to grab D2DX, downloaded the latsest version, copied the .dll file into the game folder, the Mod PlugY folder (and the PlugY installation folder), started the game with wine Game.exe -3dfx, game loads properly, then the basic screen looks not OK (some buttons are cut at the right side; see the screenshot at the bottom), characters screen shows my Sin (but she's "moving" reaaaaally fast). In the game some textures are missing (only half of my character is visible), 2-3 seconds later the game crashes with tons of errors (only pasting a part of them):

Any ideas, what should I do? Maybe wine stable + some winetricks installation?

Without D2DX the game works flawlessly.
