What's your use case?
Several widgets that allow manual selection of records, such as Scatter Plot and t-SNE, automatically create a column "Selected" to indicate which records were selected an which ones weren't. I'm probably not the only user who never uses this extra variable and gets annoyed by the extra data column, or worse, multiple columns if more of such widgets are used in a workflow.
What's your proposed solution?
In the interface of the concerned widgets, include a tick-box item Create Categorical Variable "Selected" and leave it un-checked by default
Are there any alternative solutions?
Removing the Selected column(s) downstream with Select Columns, which makes the workflow unnecessarily longer.
