opensearch.xml not found

When trying to add whoogle (0.8.2) as a search engine in firefox it tells me "Invalid Format. Firefox could not install the search engine from: https://whoogle.mydomain.net".
I'll try to provide as much info as u need, u just have to tell me which u need and where to find it

Okay, figured out what the issue was, I have authelia running in front of whoogle. Deactivating authelia to add whoogle as search engine is a workaround, however not the most elegant one, does somebody know what I'd have to pass trough or how i can make it work trough authelia?

Since I don't use Authelia, I'm going to convert this to a discussion and hopefully someone else can chime in and help you out. At first glance I'm not sure how this would be fixed, since Firefox doesn't always make the opensearch request from the same session as the user.

Might have figured out a way but to test it I need to know where the opensearch.xml file is available, saw some doc? saying its at something like whoogle.mydomain.net/ressource/opensearch.xml but firefox says can't find anything on whoogle.mydomain.net/opensearch.xml when authelia is active

I am also facing this issue, since I have whoogle behind authelia. I feel like if I could find the opensearch.xml I could just install it manually into firefox.
