You mean the flexible level they introduced after Legion/Battle for Azeroth? I'm not sure it's possible without rewriting the entire loot system. |

Here are the grey loot tables for level 1 to 5 and lvl 6 to 10. At the moment we can't choose which one the creature can access by the level of the creature. We can only assign one by entry.

it is not custom and we have the sniffs to back it up, fyi, many world tables are even more specific (notably, there are certain items that are "farmed" off level 61 mobs in vanilla and while super rare world drop epics are not as big a thing in TBC or WotLK the tables did continue, though TBC has its own level 61 drop table, as well as areas have/can have level tables--that can be handled by creature type tho and does not need changes outside the level field) |

logistically i do not see why i would not be possible to write in. IMO and only in my opinion alone, i am thinking a new collumn type in the loot tables for creature, Designated a number value for all levels, and designate one for either minimal and one maxium range or levels. just a running thought right now, that way exsisting loot will still operate fine, while only adding new rows for each confirmed level associated with loot. |

I have not investigated yet in a solution, but in my opinion the system
should be flexible enough, hence a range of level for each loot reference
should work.

One field would allow the creature to access different ref tables

where items can be selected by the level of the creature.

Looking for some input on fixing the loot system To better support creature level.
At the moment the loot system is designed around the entry of the creature with no reference to the creatures level. This is an issue if the creature, for example, can be a level 5 or level 6 due to each level should have access to different gray loot tables.
There is the possibility to send a different loot id on death of a creature on death to the loot system depending on the level of the creature. This would not require changes to the system. There is also the option of adding a level field to the loot system.
If anyone has any ideas on how best to overhaul the loot system to make it more like official we would appreciate your input.
