I've received several messages from customers wondering why the text descriptions they've entered don't appear beneath their custom video(s). Can we either display that text, or remove the description and/or transcript fields, to eliminate confusion? It doesn't really make sense to have fields in the app that aren't being displayed in the plugin. Ideally, I'd like to display that text in the plugin interface, as it's a fantastic feature!
The video tutorial we created of our client's specific use case also need a text version of the steps to get this task accomplished.
If we send them via email, those are buried in someone's inbox and don't benefit the whole team when they actually need it. The description field display is crucial for a good custom video experience.
The transcripts are also essential for people who are not native English speakers or people hard of hearing or people in an office setting where computer sound would be distracting for co-workers, even if they are immediate family in a WFH setting.
The new WP101 Plugin SaaS enables topics (videos) to have descriptions and/or transcripts associated with them.
While the feature is available for population today in the app, they need to be displayed within the WP101 Plugin itself.
