In the compiler, the error message Identifiers must begin with _ or an alphanumeric character, found unicode character 0x?? instead where 0x?? (for identifier ERROR_INVALID_IDENTIFIER) implies that an identifier can begin with a numeric character. This isn't the case, of course.

Suggestion: replace alphanumeric with letter.
