Alarm menu, "apply/discard changes" feature

When editing alarms, it is sometimes necessary to roll back or discard changes. Currently, closing the alarm window does not discard the changes, as they persist. This can be particularly tricky during a running batch.

I would like to see "Apply" and "Discard Changes" buttons added to the alarm menu.
