Since latest upgrades on JetBrains IDEs the plugin does not work any more...

I'm on 2024.3 (Build #IU-243.21565.193, built on November 13, 2024) and it works for me. I'm on plugin version 0.31.1. I have noticed it sometimes doesn't automatically offer updates. What is your plugin version? If it's older, can you try and update and report back?
