Does the server hardware need to be used exclusively for the audiogridder server software? #1391

Hi! My mate and I are running two Mac laptops.
I'm in need of more CPU power for various plugins in Reaper and he has masses spare. Can my mate continue to use Qlab, keeping use of both the screen and focus for himself, while running Audiogridder server in the background? Thank you. |

The answer to this question is ... yes? However in our case the server laptop is also has a monitor plugged into it and my mate is using Qlab from that display so it all works fine. |

Audiogridder does take over some of the main display of the server, dropping the windows in the top left hand corner and then capturing that section to send to the client.
However in our case the server laptop is also has a monitor plugged into it and my mate is using Qlab from that display so it all works fine.
