With the announcement earlier this year that a number of operations in the Fulfillment Inbound API v0 would be removed on December 20, we started the process of converting our integration to use the new v2024-03-20 APIs in July. Unfortunately, we still have been unable to complete this process due to hitting issue after issue with these new APIs. We have opened countless support tickets to get resolution, but responses have not always been timely. A quick look at list of reported issues shows that our organization is not alone. Despite all these reported issues, the December 20 deadline for removal of the legacy operations has not changed.
At this point, even if our issues were resolved today, I don't know if it's possible to complete our transition work and then roll out these changes to the 12+ different companies using our integration before the December 20 deadline. The other thing that concerns me is that Amazon is actively making changes to these APIs in order to address all of the reported issues. That's great, but who's to say that these changes aren't breaking other things?
Does anyone else share these concerns? Does anyone else feel that if Amazon would simply extend the December 20 deadline by another six months or so, a lot of stress and worry would be alleviated?
