Starting September 2023, Amazon will archive any order that is older than two years. This process of archiving orders will occur automatically on a monthly basis.
Any order that has been archived is still accessible through the Archived Orders report, which can be downloaded from Seller Central. All types of seller orders, including orders Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM), are included in the Archived Orders report. As of today, all orders placed before 2016 have been archived.
Archived orders are not included in Order reports and cannot be retrieved through the Orders API. A request for as archived order will return an "Order not found" response.
Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including items such as buyer name, phone number, address, or gift message, are not included in archived orders.
Which marketplaces are affected?
This change applies to the NA and EU marketplaces.
Who is affected?
