How can i access authorize apps in draft state with AWS SDK tools?

I don't want to make the app public. Therefore i leave it in 'DRAFT' state (this is mentioned in the docs: you have to add parameter version=beta to have api access to draft apps)

I have the feeling that this feature is not supported by the AWS SDK for python (boto3) ...

Also it is not well documented...

The only way seems to setup a page with login with amazon button...
